    Hi Everyone,

Andres and I just came back from Costa Rica to check out the area and meet with Wedding coordinator. We had an amazing time! I just wanted to share a few photos and things with all of you regarding the beautiful area you will be going to in November.

The town was really beautiful and a ton of things to do. There was night life (big clubs and beach bars), beautiful restaurants on the beach and very friendly native Costa Rican people. The prices of drinks were on average $5.00 and they make them very strong! We were stumbling back to our room most nights.

The food was really amazing; they serve lots of fish and lobster as well make a very fresh chicken. Beef is not recommended because the cows are grass feed and due to this the meat tended to be very tough.

We were very fortunate to of meet and hung out with few of the locals that gave us a few pointers and "secret" places to go. One of these places was called Lola's, it’s a little hut on a secluded beach that serves amazing food Miami style. It was funny to see the restaurant mascot Miss Lola, a 300lb pink piggy, running around the beach greeting everyone. If you would like to go to Lola's I would consider renting a 4WD vehicle while you are here, its about 20 min trip to this area through many roads which are not paved. But so worth it!! Also, we found out quickly that bug spray is a must when the sun goes down.

We also did ATVing on the beach and through the mountains where we saw a tree full of over 25 Monkeys! It was beautiful scenery and not expensive, about 25.00 an hr. We had to drive our vehicle to this location but highly recommended by the locals. You can also do this by the resort but it’s a little more pricey. They also have Zip lining, surf lessons, Kite surfing, Scooter rental and a ton more tours.

The Tamarindo Diria where are having the wedding, is very beautiful and right on the beach. We were lucky enough to see a few weddings they were doing and fell in love with the style and presentation of the reception areas. During our food tasting we actually had a very friendly iguana try to join us. It was so cool!!

We also had a chance to take a look at the rooms and all were very beautiful the Ocean view rooms were located right on the beach in main hotel. The Tropical poolside rooms were also very beautiful and included a large pool with a swim up bar and Ampatheature, where they sometimes have concerts. Please note: If you are interested in Ocean view please book your reservations by May 25th. Due to the hotels policy Andres and I will have to release most of the Ocean views that we have held for our group rate because they are so popular for the resort.

If anyone else has any other questions regarding Costa Rica please visit our forum at www.andresandkristina.com. I can’t wait to go back with all of and you and show you the great places we found!

    Love you all!

    Andres and Kristina
